
Greater Toronto Real estate Agents reported 2,732 sales through their Multiple Listing Service for the first two weeks of July.
This represented a decrease of 29 per cent from the same time last year. New listings were down eight per cent to 4,770.
The average price for a home in Toronto for the first two weeks of August was $412,934, up eight per cent from the first two weeks of August 2009.
Continued average price growth should contribute to "continued year-over-year price growth in the GTA,"reported the Toronto Real Estate Board.
