Toronto and Vancouver are leading the appreciation in house values from each city's Real Estate market bottom to November, 2009.
According to a recent Teranet National Bank house price survey Toronto is leading the way with a 13.6 per cent price increase in home values.
- Toronto-13.6% increase
- Vancouver-11.0% increase
- Ottawa-8.7% increase
- Montreal-5.0% increase
- Halifax-6.5% increase
- Calgary-5.5% increase
- Composite of the above-9.6% increase
The rise in home appreciation in all Real Estate markets above was very positive, so soon after a recession that in hindsight appeared and then vanished quickly.
