The Toronto Real Estate Board reported 10,046 combined residential sales, up 6 per cent from May 2010..
The number of new Toronto MLS listings at 16,076, was down 15 per cent compared to last year.

Average Toronto home price was $485,520, up 9 per cent from May 2010. Single-detached homes recorded the highest rate of price growth in the City of Toronto
Average prices for Toronto Condos in the Central districts, we follow(the largest) were mixed, with several areas showing positive gains from the same period a year ago.

The price breakdown of the average Condo prices in several Toronto downtown and Central Real Estate districts were as follows:

The reason for such a big price increase in C09 ? A lot of brand new luxury Condos in the Yonge/Eglinton area have just come on the resale Market.
