Toronto New Condo Sales

New Toronto Condo sales were 1,222 for the month of July, bringing the year to date sales to 11,327 High-Rise Condo units. This was the second best new Condo sales total in the past eleven years.

High-Rise Condo sales are now accounting for a 64 per cent market share in all new homes built in the GTA. Now 46 per cent of these new Condominium sales are in the 905 area regions like Markham, Mississauga and Brampton.

The strong demand for new Condos in Toronto and area resulted in a 10 per cent average price increase year over year.The average high-rise new Condo price was $430,782.

So much for all the recent negative press regarding the Condominium markets in Toronto and area. The Condo capital of North America continues to "add even more floors!"
