Toronto Home Sales Dip In August

The Toronto Real Estate Board reported 6,232 sales through the MLS system for August 2010.

This was a 22 per cent decrease in home sales compared to resales over the same period last year. Toronto and area resales were still up by 8 per cent year to date over 2009 figures.

The average price for a Toronto home was $411,012, up 6 per cent over August 2009.

Pictured above are the new Casa Condos, one of the may Toronto Downtown Condos available for sale or rent. The average price for Condos in the Casa Condominium District (C08) was $354,981 in August 2010, up 1.4 per cent from a year earlier.
