Toronto Real Estate 2009

January 31, 2010 - Updated: March 28, 2010

Toronto Real Estate experienced the best of times and the worst of times in just 12 short months.

The Global Economic crisis of 2009 did not help Real Estate in Toronto and as a result all the local markets started to slowdown but slowly these markets started to build in sales and price month over month.

Purchasers and Toronto Real Estate Agents realized that the Word didn't end and buyers started to decide when and were they wanted to live.

Toronto Condo developers were ready to deal and many consumers made the decision to buy after visiting several different projects for comparison.

These Real Estate markets ended 2009 shaking off the recession and posting strong and positive results in the new and resale markets.

Incentives from builders, incentives from the Government and lower mortgage rates from the Banks all helped to encourage first-time buyers and other purchasers to commit to investing in Toronto Real Estate in 2009.
