Toronto Home And Condo Average Resale Prices and Sales September 2011

Toronto recorded 7,658 MLS(R) resales in September,up 25 per cent  from a year ago.

According to the Toronto Real Estate Board this summer was more active than 2010 with a shortage of listings resulting in more competition between Home and Condo buyers.

The average resale price for resale homes in Toronto was $495,686 and the GTA recorded a average resale home price of $465,369.

Toronto Condos increased to 1,355 resales with an average price of $350,146 from just a year ago, an increase of 7 per cent.

Buyers continue to take advantage of low interest rates and rising income in search of their ideal Toronto Condo or Toronto Home.

Sales figures point to the fact that TREB is on pace for the second best year for resale Home sales in our GTA  market area.
