Toronto Real Estate sales numbers released for the first two weeks of April show slightly fewer homes were sold compared to April 2008.

At the same time the  Toronto home prices have been slower to recover.

The average Toronto home price is now $413,300 about $40,000 less than a year ago.

There were 1,500 homes sold in the first half of April about one per cent fewer than the same two weeks in April 2008.

Tired of renting, now is the time to find a deal with a combination of low house prices and lower mortgages.
