Resale homes across Canada rose 1.4 per cent in March from February boosted by strong Real Estate activity in Toronto.

The National average resale price reported through the MLS was $340,920 with a total of 43,621 homes sold.

The Canadian Real Estate Association reported that nearly 100,00 homes and Condos were listed during March, up 20 per cent from a year ago.

The rise in new MLS listings should help moderate some of the hot Real Estate markets across Canada resulting in less multiple offers.
